ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK

Yesterday, in Times Square, the black community of New York charged against police during a demonstration, where wanted to show the disagreement with the president of the USA, Donald Trump, who is a racist. The police used the force. The black community, are so angry with the police.

“It was terrible” said Kevin, a black teen that has lived in New York all his live but now he will have to go to another country because of Donald Trump’s presidency and restrictive policies against minorities.

Brussels Attacks 22-M

On March 22nd, in Brussels, there  was a terrorist attack claimed by The Islamic State.

It was 4 days after Salah Abdeslam (the fugitive terrorist of the Paris Attacks) was arrestted by the Brussels Police in Maelbeek.

The attacks:

Brussels-Zaventem Airport: It was a suicide attack. Two terrorists killed themselves. Later an explosive in a bag didn't cause more victimis.

A third terrorist is missing, we can see him next to Jalid and Ibrahim Bakraoui

These are the new mobile phones presented in the MWC 2016

"MOBILE IS EVERYTHING", this is the catchword of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016, wich has started today in Barcelona. It will last until the 25th of February and in these three days, some of the most important technology trademarks will present their new products.

The different exhibitions are situated in the Fira Gran Via and in the Fira Montjuïc. Now, we know about some of the mobile phones that are being presented in this important congress:

Samsung S7 and Samsung S7 edge

This new Samsung mobile phone, is very thin (4.6 mm), and it's 5.5 inches. Another improvement is that the pixels are bigger than at the Samsung s6, so the pictures that you take have more quality.

LG G5

LG, is another trademark that allows to extract the battery, as it's shown at the picture above. It seems that LG is committed to an innovative design.

Transport strike during Mobile World Congress

This week, the workers at TMB in Barcelona are on strike. Transport will be minimal. Ada Colau, the mayor of Barcelona, says what as this week is the Mobile World Congress there can not be strike. Ada Colau has tried there were not strike but it has failed to. Ada Colau it was angry because the metropolitan transport was minimal this week. 

TMB employee says: Monday and Wednesday there's an underground strike and on Tuesday and Thursday there's a bus strike.  

THE WINNERS!!!!!!

The american football club, the Rangers, won the competitionin on the 28th round out of 30 rounds. They won in their stadium, at 4:30 pm. They won because they arrived at 60 points and the 2n had 49 points.

At the end of the match, the Rangers fans invaded the pitch, as they won the title. It was an epic moment, because it was the first time they won the title of the league in their history.

Car crash in Pedralbes

On the 19 of september,2015 there was an accident in Pedralbes involving a car and bus.

In the car there were six teenagers who crashed against the side of a bus that was stopped at the traffic lights.

There were five boys and one girl. Three people  died and the other three survived.

Every weekend there are accidents in the city of Barcelona and the police say that this is because young people drik too much and lose control.

If this happened to somebody in my family I would be crying and enter in a very big depression, because if one person of my family dies, it is serious and sad when you know it. You can't belive it and you do not stop mourning.

TRAGEDY IN SANTIAGO (GALICIA)

On 24th July 2013, there was a railway accident in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia.

At the train were two hundred ten passengers and the driver. In the railway, was difficult bend, because it was so closed, and the driver must go careful.

The driver was talking on the telephone with a colleague in central control at the moment of the accident.

A BOY IN A WINDOW

Yesterday a fireman rescued a boy that was in a window.

Yesterday in Empire State Building, in New York, exacly on the last floor of the building, a boy was standing at the window.

A boy of about 13 years of age, was at the window becouse he had mental problems. And when the people saw him they called the firemen and they rescued him. It happened yesterday at 6 o´clock in the afternoon, in the last window of the Empire State Building in New York.

SYRIAN REFUGEES

Yesterday, 5th of September, a group of sailors, were protecting the Mediterranian coast looking for sharks. Everything was fine when, suddenly, in the horizon, they saw a boat with people inside.The sailors were very scared, because the men and the women of the boat has a suffer face.

The sailors were broken hearted. Jan Lewis, the captain said:  ''It was so sad. When you see those poor people with your own eyes, and see their faces, their clothes, their glassy extinct eyes,you feel you are the most fortunate person in the world''

The boat people came for Siria. They were running away from the war.The sailors accepted them on the boat, and the turned back to Barcelona. Now, the regugees, are safe and sound.

The tie of Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid

Real Madrid and Atlético played a match last 4th of October. The match finished with a tie and 1 point for each team. Because Madrid and Atlético are very good teams and it was difficult to win. The place was the stadium Vicente Calderón.

Real Madrid scored first (Benzema, 9') but Vietto scored the equalizer in the minute 83' (Vietto).
The next game they will play again on February 27.

FLOODING IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE

Last weekend,  3rd of october, a big flooding caused by rains, left seventeen dead and two missing. Saturday night it rain a lot and caused a big flooding. It ocurred in the southest of France in the French Riveira. 14.000 homes were still without electricity in the afternoon.

150 people were housed in shelters. At eight o'clock in the afternoon, the shopping streets of the glamorous Cannes had become torrents of water and the city awoke to see the train station totally flooded.
