TRAVEL ARTICLE: BRAZIL

- Recife is a city located in the north of south-America, in Brazil.
You can go there on boat or on a plane, because it ́s in the middle the Atlantic ocean. In
Recife, the main languages that are spoken are the portuguese and the brazilian
portuguese.
The currency of this city is the real (R$) and it ́s equivalent to 1€=3,41R$.
Recife has a tropical climate, it means that temperature is balanced throughout the year, the
medium temperature ́s about 25o C, so you need to put comfortable, but at the same time,3
summer clothes, like short sleeve t-shirts, shorts and sunglasses, for example.
One of the bests things in Recife is that you can choose a lot of differents places to stay, like
hotels very near the beach, a lot of big and very green campsites and of course apartments
in the city.
In Recife there are very wonderful traditions like Carnival, this are most important festival,
they disguise themselves, with a lot of colorful clothes, also, they do parades of floats and
there is a lot of music.
If you go there, you must taste the ``tapioca ́ ́, is like bread, but made of ``yuca ́ ́, or the
``Maracuyá ́ ́, a very sweet and delicious fruit.
In my opinion, Recife is one of the most wonderful and amazing places in the world! Ther ́s a
lot of things to taste, visit and a lot of funny and cheerful festivals.

This is Miami

Miami Beach

Miami is a city located in Florida, United States, in the county of Miami-Dade.

The cheapest and fastest way to travel to Miami is by plane. The language spoken in Miami is English and also a lot of Spanish. If you want to travel to Miami the most important things to bring in your gear are: clothes, bathing suit (for the beach), a camera and money. If you want to enjoy your time in Miami you should sleep in a hotel and visit Jungle Island, Dodge Island and Venetian Pool.

And finally you have to eat the cooked “cassava” or the “tostones”.

In my opinion Miami is one of the best cities to go on vacation for its beaches, its emblematic sites and its food. If I could I would go on vacation every year.

MINNEAPOLIS

I don’t think that people know many things of Minneapolis, but is a very beautiful place.  
Minneapolis is located in the state of Minnesota, it’s a north city, the winters are very could and dry, and the summers are hot. Minneapolis lies both banks of the Mississippi river, just north confluence with the Minnesota river and adjoins Saint Paul, the state’s capital. 
Minneapolis has a very long bridge “ Mississippi river bridge”. The city is very rich in water, have lakes, falls…

A good place to visit would be the baseball field are the Minneapolis Millers and the basketball field Minnesota Timberwolves.

Minneapolis has very popular museums like: the Walker Art Center, the Mill city museum, and the Weisman art museum.

The city has a very big monument of a spoon with a cherry on the lake.

There are many known artists as Prince who was born there.

A WEEK IN CARCASSONNE

Hello, today I’m going to explain my week in carcassonne. It was a beautiful experience to visit France, because I like French and I also speak the language a little.

Let’s start with my favourite place of the city.

MY FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE CITY

My favourite place in the city is the castle. The old part of the city is the most visited in the city. To access the castle you buy a ticket, the ticket which is not very expensive. When I visited the castle, I got a kind of “speaker” telling you that what you were visiting in your language idiom. You also paid for this “speaker”. This is a little map of the city, where you see the castle and the little streets of Carcassonne. 

 

THE MAGNIFICENT FOOD

I was a week in Carcassonne but I ATE a lot because I love the food of France, the goffres, the crepes, etc... But my favourite is definitely the crepes, croissant and macaroons. We recommend the food of the city because it's worth it!

Transport strike during Mobile World Congress

This week, the workers at TMB in Barcelona are on strike. Transport will be minimal. Ada Colau, the mayor of Barcelona, says what as this week is the Mobile World Congress there can not be strike. Ada Colau has tried there were not strike but it has failed to. Ada Colau it was angry because the metropolitan transport was minimal this week. 

TMB employee says: Monday and Wednesday there's an underground strike and on Tuesday and Thursday there's a bus strike.  

ANDORRA

Hello! A site I recommend is Andorra. It is small country, but you can do many things there. In winter you can ski, there are many open air pools and the water is very hot. You can also go for a walk at night, take something warm to drink. This is something we could do in Andorra. 

                                                        

California

California is one of the most populated places  in the US. Its population is over 38 milion people.

It is a federal state of the Unaited States, located on the southwest coast of the country. It is one of the states of the US with more economic power. The largest city of California is Los Angeles.

 California's name comes from the Spanish missionaries when they arrived in the city because they belived that was where lived the famous Amazon Queen Califa.

This city is characterized by a spectacular coastline, with beautiful cliffs, but also with some amaizing beaches, there are also  mountain areas that are ideal for hiking. In California there is always a fairly sunny weather.

It is a dream for hundreds of tourists, in california, is the famous film industry called 'Hollywood'

The most important cities in California are: Los Angeles, San Francisco, San diego, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Malibu, Santa Barbara,etc.

One of the most beautiful places to visit is San Bernandino Forest, a forest full of spectacular colours and smells situated on the right side of Los Angeles.

SYDNEY

Sydney is one of the most visited cities in Australia and you can visit many unique places there.

Sydney is right between the Pacific Ocean on the East, and the Blue Mountains on the West. The climate is quite hot all year long, the average temperature is 21.6 degrees.

The tourism is very important, it receives 2.7 million tourists between the most visited attractions are the Sydney Opera House and the Port of Sydney. You can visit :

        - Powerhouse Museum

and many more attractions.

A TRIP TO PARIS

The city I speak about is Paris. It’s in France, in the middle of France. It’s its capital.

HOW TO GET THERE

You can travel by plane, which is the fastest way to get there, and if you like long trips you can go by train, high-speed-train or car, but it will take you a while to get if there you go by car.

The people there speak French, and te second language is English.  The money used there is Euro.

WEATHER

The weather is quite similar to Spain but in winter it might be a little cooler. In the summer, you can take a light jacket and warm clothes for winter.

WHERE TO STAY

Very famous hotels in Paris, where you can sleep during your stay are: Sofitel Paris Le Fauboug with *****, Hôtel Scribe Paris with *****, Castille Paris with ****...

THINGS TO DO

There you can visit a lot of different museums, monuments and places that are important in Paris. The most important and famous monument is The Eiffel Tower, but Paris has got other monuments and museums for example: Notre Dame Cathedral , Louvre Museum,  Orsai Museum... Paris has got a famous amusement park, its name is Disneyland Paris.

FOOD & DRINK

The typical food of Paris are “pot-au-feu”, made with beef, leeks, carrots, and sometimes with pickles and mustard. We should also mention the tasty stuffed, "omelets" that are omelets with mushrooms, ham, cheese and other ingredients inside.

OPINION

Paris is a beautiful city. For me one of the most beautiful in the world. It has one of the seven world heritage sites: the famous Eiffel Tower. I recommend you go there.
