A new river catastrophe in Bangladesh
The ship sank friday 5th of May at night, it was a ferry. The ship sank due to strong wind turbulences, it was also overloaded. On the ship were about 500 passengers, althought the number of dead people was difficult to determine. The ferry sunk 12 metres deep.
The rescuers have found 100 survivors so far.
A jetliner crashes in Nigeria and causes more than 180 victims
A jetliner had just taken off the airport when it crashed against a dozen homes in a densely populated area.
On the jetliner were about 70 passengers, including Nigerian sports minister. Althought the radio station claimed that on the jetliner were exactly 105 passengers.
Last night, 83 bodies were recovered from the rubble of buildings and four more inside the jetliner.
